German Championship for Approved Stallions on the EQUITANA Fair in Essen, Saturday 16th March 2013

The most desired FN awards (Bundesprämien) were distributed this week-end during the Equitana Equestrian Fair in Essen to Fjord horse stallions, approved with the German Fjord Horse Associations. This very special event could be admired by a large international public and the Sires were judged by an international judge team with special judge-guest Nils Ivar Dolvik, president of the Fjord Horse International.

The winner of the young stallion class - these stallions did not yet realise the station test - is ILMO, grå stallion, son of INRICO (Illiano), out of SKJERLA (Sogneblakken), bred and owned by Hans Giesen.

Second and reserve in this young class is BRAM, son of COBUS (Vasco) and the mare REASY (Lenngard), born with HM Van de Berg and owned by Hestegaarden, Netherlands.

The winner in class II, Sires that realised a successful station test, honoured by the FN with the Bundesprämie is KASTANJEGARDENS HANNIBAL, born in Danmark and owned by Sabine Körner. He is a son of CITRUS KLATTRUP (Pikant Halsnaes) out of KASTAN.OFELIA, a Orion Halsnaes daughter.

Second and reserve award goes to VACCEUR, a son of VALØR HALSNAES (Nikk Halsnaes) and LAQUESTA (Kvest Halsnaes) , born and owned by Elisab. u Reinhold Eitenmüller.

This great stallion show and the fantastic presentation of the Fjord horse driving team during the Hot Top Show is a marvellous and spectacular promotion for this special breed and we wish the German association continue succes during this Equitana week.
